All events have an Ultimate Video DJ with big screen, there is a good sized wooden dancefloor and there are fair bar prices to make it an affordable night out.
The doors open at 8pm, with background music till 9pm, music gets turned up at 9pm when the dancing starts for real, finishes with a curfew at 1am. No admissions after 11pm .(see exceptions below).
Advance Tickets £6.50 and on the door £7.50 each per ticket.

Barmy Bingo Nights also have different timings and fees. Daytime Disco fees the same but timings 2pm to 6pm.
New timings for 2025 for Daytime Disco and We Got Soul, doors open half an hour earlier and finish half an hour earlier. i.e. Daytime disco - Doors open at 1.30pm, music 2pm and finish at 6pm, We Got Soul - Doors open at 7.30pm, music 8pm and finish at 12.30am.

Seating is limited by the Civic! For clarity we cannot guarantee seats at any of our events – we do put out approx. 260 seats so most folk arriving early get seated if they wish. Certain events will vary i.e. Barmy Bingo Nights and Daytime Discos.

The Rhythm of the Day, The Ultimate Daytime Disco at The Civic.
Aimed at over 30’s – well the music certainly is, you get a full-on party disco, doors open 1.30pm music starting at 2pm in the afternoon, the best music from across the decades, and a curfew of 6.00pm. So you can head home for supper and strictly, or head on out for a full on Saturday!
Everything you expect from a Civic hosted party, good people, fair bar prices, great atmosphere, full club lighting and sound system, giant video screen and the best people in town all having a great time.
